Episode 6
I’m Tom Hailey, and this is Bluegrass Region Voices and Views…about interesting people, places, and activities around the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky.
Have you considered creating or inventing something and wondered what the next best steps are to turn your idea into a reality?
Our guest can help you discover those next steps and actually take them.
He is Don Skaggs and he lives here in the Bluegrass Region.
He has two organizations.
His non-profit is named Inventors Network KY and it helps inventors and entrepreneurs through education, engagement, and empowerment.
He also runs Empowered Inventing which helps people learn, plan, and do.
We talk about the challenges that inventors, entrepreneurs, and creatives deal with, and the importance of strategically using our time, money, and wisdom.
We also talk about scams that target inventors.
While discussing scams, we had an issue with my recorder which caused us to stop and begin that segment again.
I asked Don to repeat what he had just said. I’m leaving in about a minute of him making the same point because it’s so important.
