Episode 38
Have you considered participating in a Mastermind Group? Or have you thought about organizing one yourself?
Or maybe you’ve never heard of this concept, but you’d like to enhance your performance in some area of your work or personal life.
I’m Tom Hailey and this is Bluegrass Region Voices and Views where I talk with creative and inspiring people around the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky. And I have fun with friends.
My guest is Doug Semenick. Doug is a consultant, professional speaker, and workshop leader. He works out of Shelbyville, Kentucky.
His primary focus is guiding companies in developing their leaders. One of his tools or processes involves forming Mastermind Groups. This conversation focuses on defining Mastermind Groups and the details about setting one up and participating in its operation.
Doug is a repeat guest. To learn more about what he teaches on leadership, you can listen to Episode #25 dated April 30, 2022, titled Leaders Developing Leaders. At the beginning of that conversation, we also get into some of Doug’s personal story. So, we didn’t repeat that here.
Drop in on this conversation after I’ve asked Doug to define a Mastermind Group.
Doug impressed me from the day I met him, and I know he can bring deep value to any organization with his consulting and training. I’m still benefiting from my participation with him a few years ago in a Mastermind Group that met monthly for a couple years.
He’s not a one and done guy. He can connect with a company and their culture and work with them for weeks, months, or years to get to where they want to be.
And if you need a keynote or luncheon or after dinner speaker, he’s excellent at that too.
His email is doug@semenick.biz and his website, which is being refreshed, is at http://semenickandassociates.com
I highly recommend him.
Now a brief commercial. About me. I’m beginning a project to help people record a little of their personal story to share with their current family and descendants. I’m currently working on the webpage that will describe this, which I’m calling Your Story in Your Voice. I’m posting brief videos there that describe what it’s about.
