Sylvia Lovely
Episode 36
It’s fascinating how dots get connected. I’m enthusiastic about helping people tell their stories in podcasts for the public to hear. And now also in private audio formats they can share just with their family, friends, and descendants.
This year, as soon as I became committed to the project of guiding people through private audio recording, along came some people and resources to help me better understand how to do that. It’s amazing how making connections works.
One of them is my guest, Sylvia Lovely.
Sylvia has a project where she helps people write, record, read, tell, and share the stories of their lives. She does this through workshops both in person and on-line.
Here are some of tools she uses:
Self-Study Story Journals, Tailored Workshops and Retreats, Writing Groups, Listening Sessions, Focus Groups and Book Clubs.
A paragraph from her website says:
“Join me on a journey to discover the power of stories to fuel the wisdom that embraces both who we are and the better, more fulfilled self we can be.”
Sylvia shares some of her personal story in this conversation. Drop in as she tells us where she was born and raised.
I encourage you to check out Sylvia’s website at sylvialovely.com and learn more about how she can help you write the stories of your life and have a fun and satisfying time doing it.
Contact me if you’d like more information about how I can guide you through the process of recording a private one-hour story about your life to share with your family and descendants in a professional sounding audio format. I’ll do all the work and you can just have a fun and rewarding experience. This would not be for a public podcast. It would be for you to share only with whomever you want to hear it.
Now let’s go make some connections and tell some stories.
