Lexington based mystery novelist f j messina has just published his fifth book in The Bluegrass Files series.
The first four were Down the Rabbit Hole, Twisted Dreams, The Bourbon Brotherhood, and Mirror Image.
This new one is Revenge.
A fun fact about these books is that they are set mostly here in the Bluegrass Region at real places.
The two detectives, Sonia and Jet, have their offices in a fictional space above the real Magee’s Bakery on East Main Street here in Lexington.
There is no actual second floor at Magee’s.
But these stories will have you thinking there is…and you will want to enjoy an almond croissant and coffee in Magee’s and wait for Sonia and Jet to come downstairs for a coffee break.
